it would range depending on what the person wanted but it would probably be anything that isnt morally compromising like rape or torture.

I'd say open up for a few and see how many commission you. If you find it's a viable stream of commissions, start up that second account and let people know where to find it :)

In other words, just let the money talk. If you find that it's worth it to set up a second account, go for it. Personally, I tried doing that and it didn't end up going anywhere, so I closed it. Look at it this way - what have you got to lose?

There are ways to manage that. I have some art that I basically say, "I'll draw this, but I won't post it in my gallery - you're free to post it in yours, however." You can try that for a while, and if there's enough interest to merit opening a second account, then go for it. I've been doing that for about three years now, and it's worked well for me.

The reason my alternate account didn't go anywhere wasn't because there was no interest - it was honestly because I was too lazy to keep up with it :P

Personally I hate when people open several different accounts for things like that. It's sometimes a hassle to keep track of several different pages for the same person's work

I can understand that. But if that was the case why not just not post it on your page and just leave it for the commissioner to do with what they want? Ultimately its up to you obviously lol. Just seems like a lot of trouble to manage two pages

I've been sort of wrestling with this issue for a while now. I'm interested to see where you go with it and what the outcome is.

Personally, I find artists who split their galleries a bit...not cowardly exactly, but it baffles me. It feels like they want to remain "pure" to everyone's eyes despite their other account being filled with things their main audience would find distasteful. Always remember this: it is your art and yours alone. You can draw whatever you feel like drawing. If some people don't like that and stop following your work because of it, then maybe those people aren't worth appealing to.

As for the separate account itself: you'll probably find enough people interested in fetish commissions to warrant the separate account, but I hate having to keep track of artists with more than one gallery. It might seem petty, but it's just a bit of a hassle. lol

i just thought it was a great way for people who dont want to see really offensive kinks to not have to see them while still allowing me to cater to a new audience, but if enough people say it would be a hassle ill try posting here

I get where you're coming from, yeah. It's a tough call if you're having a lot of vocal backlash to the kinkier stuff and just want it to quiet down. That was just my two cents though. I'll still follow your work regardless of what you choose.

No artist should live in fear of backlash of what kinks one wants to draw and share, let alone asked to commission. Let the whiners whine, and if you lose watchers, there's really no loss on anyone's part.

..you could keep such art in your scrap tab (thus not visible on the main galery) while also in a folder for that..

..or not post it for now - as others said, leave only the comissioner to post it - while you measure interest..

You advertise it exists, but people click at their own discretion. Unless loging in and out of accounts isn't a hassle for you.

Well one thing at a time, first: You need to see if there's money to be made and you're comfortable with it. Without that,
whatever i recommend is a guess at best.
