Linking to a userpage[edit]
This replaces a given username with the same text at is is being shown in the URL of the userpage (This might not be the same as the actual username, especially concerning capitalization).

Comic navigation links[edit]

This is a quick way to make the navigation links for those artist that do comics. The number in this code refers to the submission ID number. The submission ID is the number shown in the URL bar, after the /view/ or /full/.For example, with http://www.furaffinity.net/view/504225/, the ID would be 504225.
(The submission ID is highlighted in red)
Only one whitespace character is allowed anywhere between the numbers, semicolons and square brackets.
To disable a certain link, for example you don't have the "next" link on your latest piece or the "first" link on your first one, replace the ID with a dash, "-". and that link will be disabled.
Works only only in submission descriptions.

Anything more than 12 of each of these does not work. There is a way around
the limit though, to make your page appear better.
If you want more than 12 avatar icon links with names, just make the first
12 like this:

For all of the examples above, there can be no spaces between the []
characters. Check each of your links by clicking on them, before deciding
that you are done editing your page. If a link does not work, make sure the
username part is exactly as their name appears at the end of the address
bar of your browser, when you are on their page.

submission. You can simply copy the /view/########/ portion of the URL
from the address bar, and it will work.

Replace the ####### with the journal number. That is the number at the
end of the address bar in your browser, when you are looking at the
journal. You can simply copy the /journal/########/ portion of the URL
from the address bar, and it will work.
To link to a specific shout, use this:

Replace the ######## with the desired shout index. Normally, you only
see this number in the address bar immediately after making a shout. You
can view the HTML page source to find the index of other shouts, but be
aware that linking to shouts will fail if the user has deleted the shout,
or if it has scrolled off their page.
To link to a specific comment, use this:

Replace the first ####### with the submission ID and the second ########
with the appropriate comment ID. The best way to find these numbers is
to look at the comment and to mouse over the (No Subject) link. Right
clicking on that should allow you to save a permalink to the comment that
includes the proper numbers.
Testing special symbols
Copy and paste any of these to your page if desired.
Be aware that not all users have fonts on their system to display all of these. If you use a modern operating system with a modern browser, you should see most of them. If you see mostly black squares, or missing character symbols, you will need to find, download and install a unicode font that contains the characters you wish to use.
