Hey there,
Just curious, was wondering how to get some more feedback from my watchers - I've asked a couple of important questions in regards to my art dolls work, and generally providing things folks would like to purchase from me:
I've already posted journals and tweets etc. asking for suggestions on what to offer if/when I set up a patreon. I have loads of awesome ideas for art dolls that I want to pursue:
Centaurs
Quad/feral characters
Raptors/Birds/Wyverns
Dragons
Mixed media - Zips on mouth and body, (functioning) Clock faces, Astronauts (plastic bauble for helmet) etc.
But I can't justify working on these without a steady income. I'm unemployed at the moment and am having to put aside crafting time to job hunt.
Please, I'm guessing you guys dig my work or you wouldn't be faving it or leaving such kind comments! Please give me some advice and suggestions on what I can do to make my patreon happen, and what to offer to keep donators happy.
I've already gotten some great advice from the patreon Help desk, but it would mean a lot to hear it from you guys
Please,
Lou

Also id love o see taur doll :3 or dragons, dragons are always nice, i have so many ideas to craft and so many things to draw but i dont have time for all.
I'm a bit anxious about tutorials, as I have no actual training in sewing or pattern - making, I kind of just approach it hows someone making a cardboard box would, as well as looking at clothes and how they're put together.
I'd love to show people my wips though! as they can be quite entertaining in themselves! the amount of goofy photos I have playing around with wips XD
Time's an issue yes, I think the hardest bit is figuring out what you want to do FIRST. Once you have that, it helps with scheduling it stuff.
Something that allows you to retain your creativity and give you time to create and fulfill your commissions.
All the best <3
I did have a really good job at a place last year making christmas decorations for streets and shopping malls!...But they only have work between June and November. I'm trying hard to get more work like that, but no luck so far.
Thanks
It is also common there to simply donate money for the artist's supplies
Lastly, some of artists make small gift thingies for the best patrons
I hope this made some sense for you about your patreon features ;}
