i don´t think, for the begginign, you should let people edit your art. But, exactly you allow to changue ?

if you want to use my art to make a nice wallpaper or something similar, i'm ok with it as long as you credit me

but if you use my art to add nipples on a pic which didn't have nipples at first, that's fucking stupíd, i'll report it

Some people do anything for virtual internet points. Such is disappointing, but that is the internet.

Though not all do it for that, some do it without intention of harm and just general creativity, but don't think to ask for permission outside private use.

May come to point you are forced to add a watermark with your name and a Do Not Edit line someday. Though even then, doesn't stop editors. Does however make it easier for others to report things.

While would be sad if you have to resort to this. Not a huge fan of watermarks, but I wouldn't judge. I see edited images almost every day on the image boards I browse. So I know the agony artists who try to keep it under control go through.

Forget watermarks. They just get removed.

Yes they really should.

I saw the edit in question in e621 and at least it wasn't badly done, you can practically eliminate that kind of edits by adding the nipples by yourself, do both SFW and NSFW versions. If you decide to use a watermark, don't make it disturbing (e.g. don't make it cover boobs). I prefer steganographic watermarks because they're a lot harder to remove than visible ones.

well, what if i don't want to add nipples on some pics? that's not an excuse for someone to edit my artwork WITHOUT my permission. I want it to be removed, that's it.
