I have never really struggled with school. I thought it was a joke when I saw images circulating around the internet about how difficult college was. I thought that I wasn't the kind of person who struggled. But oh gosh, I am drowning in workloads and deadlines now. One of my classes this semester just makes me want to quit.
I'm burned out and exhausted from just the past few days alone. Commission work is basically delegated to weekends only now, when I have time. I've also been seeing my boyfriend almost every other week to be his emotional support.
I feel like I need a whole day of just resting. But even when I am supposed to be resting I am worrying about things that need to be done. Just need to shut off my brain for a bit.

I'm in 2 other upper level studio art classes that keep me pretty busy as well. At least the painting class is extremely laid back to the point where I don't even need to attend class regularly, just need to come in enough so that the professor can see what I am working on and offer advice. And need to attend critique days.
Instead of going to grad school I'm going to take what I have learned and do some freelance on my own. I'm also going to see if I can upgrade from an art history minor to an art history major in my last year since I will finish my minor a year early.
