I'm doing really badly. My sister is in the hospital (she'll be okay, she's being discharged soon), and we're trying to get her on disability like I am, but it's gonna be months before it actually happens.
For now, we have food stamps, but my SSI immediately goes into rent. The entire chunk of it, save 30 bucks. Austin is incredibly expensive.
I don't know how long we're gonna be like that. If I can make even 200 bucks a month off commissions, we should be out of the red. I'm desperate.

I'm constantly doing extra art lessons--mostly DrawABox, Proko, and Ctrl+Paint--so I'm increasing in quality over time through sheer will power. I'll try to do one or two pieces that include backgrounds to reflect this.
