you didnt actually want to work on your artwork slots, did you? here let me help you by LAGGING THE FUCK OUT OF YOUR BRUSH FOR NO REASON!
uuugh
all the forums are suggesting that the best fix for brush lag is to do literally everything i already did because i think they dont believe me when i say i did it or just sell a kidney and get a legit copy for a super cheap throw away pocket change price of fifty dollars a month.
fuck that.
the few people who are trying to help me on the forums are treating me like i JUST installed photoshop today for the very first time and not several years ago with it working fine until this morning. T_T
im having a minor anger melt down right now.
If i cant fix this or it wont fix itself (it does that sometimes) i may have to use a new program from now on which means the quality of my commissions is gonna go to shit for the next few months/years.
bare with me. im gonna try a -ugh- different program to see if its photoshop or my laptop.
EDIT
---
Ok so it seems photoshop is not the problem. For once. Time to troubleshoot!

I have no experience with Photoshop so i can't offer advice. I hope you find the problem and fix it. I assume it's not cpu spiking or low free RAM, and that's about all i can think of as general problems.
me- ok i did xyz
them- did it work?
me- no.
them- ok.... hm.... try....xyz then.
me- i literally just said that i did that.
different them- oh hey i had this issue once! did you try xyz?
me- *throws laptop out window*
You can do this by going into your start menu, at the bottom type services, then scroll to wacom professional then stop it and start it again
You might have to close Photoshop
couple of times.
also removed the drivers totally and reinstalled them from scratch.
still getting brush lag in both gimp and photoshop.
well with all the program suggestions i was getting.... XD
