In my opinion, you should choose this at your own.
If you like to post nfsw do it, if not, dont do it.

My thought on NSFW in your gallery... clearly yes, you will want to make sure that you yourself are comfortable with it being up there.

But beyond that, I don't think it's an issue. There is a nice SFW button people can hit, so as long as you tag your stuff properly as mature or adult, no one who doesn't want to see it will see it. It really just comes down to your own personal comfort levels. :)
