Does the arting even work for me?
Hey folks,
First off, I can't tell you how appreciative I am of all of you because words just fall short of the dedication you show and I haven't done anything to really earn it.
My long absence has been without any notice and for good reason. A few private matters have been pulling me further and further away, if it isn't one thing, it's the flu, if it isn't sticky grabby hands, it's obligations to my job, which requires travel (of course).
I have come to the realization that things will just never slow down enough for me to continue the Arts unless I make time to do it. So, let's give it a try. If I can pay as much in principle in my mortgage as I do interest, I can make small victories here as well.
Anyway, school is on hold so that my husband can get some education into his head (he's really smart, he'll soak it up blinding fast!) and my traveling obligations are a long ways off (for now). These days, I'm getting my inspirations to do work from my personal art heroes, you know who you are.
A man at work mentioned to me (he and a friend of his own an art gallery and they deal in art) that I should see about getting myself an LLC. From what I've been reading about it, it seems like a good idea. Not only will it help me keep better track of things, money and taxes wise, it offers a little more legitimacy for both myself and my commissioner. So, until I get that set up, expect that commissions will remain inactive. I will, however, try to stream often to get back into the habit of arting. As a bonus, please drop in and watch, you'll never know when I'm feeling gifty!
Finally, the running club is currently on hold. There are basic tasks that I've let slip too far to add this new one to the plate. I've always believed in "If you can't take care of the things you have, you shouldn't have new things." Also, a friend suggested that I sit on the art board of a local fur convention. I'm not sure if I'm really that qualified to do so but I've been slowly considering it.
Stay tuned, I'm warming up the opencaster and making sure all the pieces still work. Expect a stream within the hour!
Cheers,
Brittney
PS: Leave your comments about LLCs below. I'd love to hear what you think about it, or any advice you think is worth passing on.

I want even try and lifestream, but when? most weekends are called for, and during the week I have barely 2 hours left for anything. :P
anyway, I wish you much success with everything. I hope I can watch you from afar. :)
