if it's a you put more time into you can do more.
Unless you want to auction it which you set a base price for people to start with and an ending price that seems fit to you like you made a small front and back of a character,
maybe the starting bid is 15 dollars and you want it to end at like... 90 or something.

It also depends on how you want to do it.

Nah it did! I just often see so many rules associated to it like 'don't resell for more than what you bought' and 'this character HAS to be like this and this and that when you use it'

what your comfy with and what you're not comfy with.
if you're comfy with people changing the design up then it's all good
some people aren't ok with that.

The rule about re-selling is kinda good thing. Some people buy cheap adots and then re-sell them for a bigger price. Not because they grew tired of said adopts, they just want get cash from what other people did.

I usually ask to sell for the price it was bought. Some artists have rule that you can't sell adopts you bought, but you can trade them. To be honest, no matter what we'll say, people will have all the rights to do anything to characters they bought, it's more like moral thing.
