Beyond upset...

...moo...
The company I work for (Capstone Logistics) is hired by another company (MDV) to lump trucks to be received at the warehouse level. Well, we are paid production pay. So the more cases we touch per truck, the better. Which can be both a blessing and a curse. Some times you can get trucks that have a high case count, but not a lot that needs to be touched. Then there are times when you get trucks with minuscule amount of cases but a lot of work for those small amount of cases. Now for the part I'm most upset with. We are only paid $.015 a case (which is okay as some days you can make quite a bit and average nearly $15 per hour on the day or $8 if the day is really piss poor) and we began charging for additional work that is required to complete our jobs. MDV has accused our company (Capstone) of stealing money from them, when in fact we are just trying to be paid for what we do there. They charge a driver a good chunk of money, while the people who actually do the work get paid merely 2% of that charge (if that). How are we the ones stealing here?
I take the word "stealing" to heart as I am a firm believer in honor. I have even pledged myself to a Knights' code. It's simply an outrage. I'm somewhere between sorrow and bloodlust right now.

My father was a manager for a trucking company once upon a time. I know full well not to put that kind of behavior past them.
