Well we meet Negan. That's all I'll say for now

I knew about the Negan from my folks and they've been speculating who died. Wanna note me so as not to ruin it for others haha

That's one of the things I was expecting to talk about here. No one know who it was for sure who got it in the end.

Well according to some people ive talked to they said that when the screen goes black theres a scream and from that your supposed to be able to tell who died. I have no idea if that's true or not I plan on watching it tomorrow after work.

I know that AMC is coming up to a character soon they said they may have a wee bit of trouble with in placement for the show

Hmm... interesting. Ill have to watch that part again. I was freaking out the first time I watched it. lol

I just cant wait until October when it starts back up. I'm guessing this Negan guy is more hardcore than the Governor

He certainly seems more organised and controls a much bigger area then the Governor. Also all of Negan's people are fighters! No plain civilians like the Governor had in his town.

That's gonna make him even more formidable of a foe then.

From what I remember, they're in a state of community with some people, and a new, really disturbing enemy is neighboring them. They committed a horrible act that literally made me drop the book in shock. I WILL TELL YOU NOTHING. >:)

I'm a watcher of the show and blind to the comics. I'm all up to date, so SPOILER WARNING

Gotta say I was a little frustrated with the last shot of the episode. It seemed as though the entire season was building up to two things, the arrival of Negan and the gruesome departure of someone central to the cast. After all the buildup, I will say that I already find Negan charming and charismatic in a menacing way, I think the casting of him and his delivery was pretty rad (heh heh, you have no idea how not cool that shit is, loved that). The media hype kicking off the season featured the actors that played Rick and Maggie saying how sick and disturbed by what happened at the end of the run, so I spent that entire 90 minutes getting more and more anxious to see what would happen....and then the big reveal was that Negan beat a cameraman to death. :<

It felt like a broken promise. Like, what would be a more powerful moment, "Oh shit ___________ is gone, now what?" or "Who got home runned?" If they come back in October and it turns out to be a fan favorite but NOT someone central and important (like Abe or Gene as opposed to Michonne, Glen, Maggie) I'm going to be sick to my stomach.

I'm much the same. I'm far behind on reading the comics so I don't know who (if anyone) was supposed to get smashed in that scene.
I agree, they really should have shown who bit it at the end. And it does feel like a cheat to end the season like that.
Negan was awesome though. When he stepped out of the bus I said "is that the Comedian from Watch Men!?" XD
Overall I liked this season. I just wish it had a proper ending.

Oohhhh I saw it, and why would they do that? It was supposed to be Glen, and a very iconic scene in the comic books, but they ruined it to keep people for next season, which makes no sense, very popular show already. Sometimes I can never understand Hollywood, or in our case lately, Atlanta, we getting stuff lately.
PS: If you play GTA, you will recognize one of the new characters as Trevor's voice actor. XD
