After taking a walk down memory lane on youtube I started thinking about what I was watching when I was a girl. Now that I realize I will in one month's time be hitting the big 40 I've been looking back a lot lately. So I thought this would be a fun little game. I'll put down some of the TV shows I was watching back then by their intro music and see how many of you recognize them yourselves. And you can play along by putting your own childhood memories in the form of TV show intro music.

And then its helicopter counterpart?


That awesome orange Dodge? And country music?


Had a crush on Erik Estrada. And it just so happens the first episode aired the day a good friend of mine was born.


Yeah growing up with an older brother helped me become sort of a gal who likes machinery.

And the cartoons? Well again by big bro got me into a lot of shows.

Such as Transformers before this cartoon was considered gen 1 and was the only generation.


This too.


HeMan was pretty darned hot!


Now we finally get into the girly shows. ;P

Such as HeMan's sister.


Not much of a intro to this one but the show was fun.


And this My Little Pony looks more like real horses than todays version. At least the new version kept most of the original character names. Even if in different roles.


Great stuff in the early and mid 80's. I think that's the best decade as far as entertainment on TV. So what do you remember about your time growing up?
