Yes... the old Sabertoof is getting even older. On the 14th I'll be 61. It is getting where I don't welcome my birthdays any more. It's not the years so much as the mileage on this ol' body. *Sighs heavily*

It's all good .... we all get "mileage" built up, just part of being the model year that we are, vintage, classic, antique .... it's all good, and the older we get the more value we acquire! I hope you have as good a birthday as any big cat could have. I to don't really look forward to them coming around too much anymore but it's something we cannot stop so why not make the best of it! I just have to laugh when 30-somethings furs call themselves gray-muzzles. I'm only 56 and I still get called a kid by folks 20 years older than me. I don't celebrate birthdays that much anymore although some nice folk took me out for steak for my last birthday. Hope it's a happy day no matter what you do for it.

I don't think of it as mileage, but as experience gained. It doesn't seem like it has been a year since the big 60. Are you sure you're not doing 2 birthdays a year?
