A lot of things have happened in the last week, and my last posting was borne of being upset. Those that know me know that I don't get spooked real eay. Some jerk of a troll came at me just because I've known someone for over 20 years, and only because I've known them. "Guilt by association" was used.
Normally I don't pay any attention to trolls, but this came at me from out of left field, and out of the blue. So, because my job requires it, I've let my Security manager know about it, and I've talked to a lawyer, because this was a THREAT, and if the person is in another State, then it's a Felony.
I've seen the level of crap that happens in the fandom when someone gets their dander up, and I try and steer clear of it. Drama is too much crap and it tends to either blow over or fester. Well, I'm steering clear of this. I managed to get myself out of a couple of bad situations, and slowly getting things back in order. So I don't need this...and didn't want it. I've screwed up some friendships by misunderstandings; I don't like walking on eggshells.
I WAS going to take a step back from the fandom and re-examine my art and things, but this has left a really bad taste. So, I'm going to take a few more steps back and be very cautious on things.

(E). All of the above. It's a shame that some jerks think it's okay to hide behind their computer or phone screens and play terrorist-at-large (agree with my twisted philosophy or die!). Most of the ones I've had trouble with have been small-fry, like the one that threatened to have me barred from a bunch of my favorite sites (you saw and commented), a year ago.
