No one really goes to best buy anymore. Not just cause a lot of people digital download games or buy stuff online. Its the fact that the places are run by people who dont care or just takes forever just to shop.

I bought a wireless mouse there and the place was dead....no one came over to help me when I was clearly trying to pick a mouse and just trying to ring up my one purchase took forever!

Yeah, what bothers me is that they still clearly have the staff, but most stand around doing nothing and/or talking to other workers.

I haven't been to Best Buy in the longest time. Mostly because I do most of my shopping online. Stores, like Best Buy these days are going kinda downhill thanks to online shopping. But I will admit sometimes I do go to these stores for reasons other than video games, the best buy in my hometown actually is very populated all the time, but its just hard sometimes to find a specific items because they're either not on sale and online only (which no one tells you via the website) or because they simply haven't been restocked yet.

I used to go to Best Buy all the time, when they had such a more vast selection of, well, everything. They make it easier and easier to argue why online shopping is better than buying from them. I remember one time I was going to buy a TV and saw the same exact model in Best Buy. I already knew that exact model was around $100 cheaper on Amazon (with free shipping to my house), and I spoke with an associate about the TV. Not only did she tell me they didn't price match (at that time), nor would she entertain any sort of negotiation to give me a slight discount to make them more competitive and to get my sale. No dice. I left there infuriated that she didn't even TRY to work with me at all on price. It was like I was taking her away from her friend and the message was 'get lost.'

What game you tried to buy?

Was Ratchet and Clank - which has turned out to be somewhat of a disappointing "reboot," if I might add.

Well that is disappointing to hear.

I rarely go to best buy myself considering its over an hour away but also because they told me that a headset that was broke in the box was due to common use by me. Hated it and only go there to buy movies or certain things that they carry.

Oh man, are you out West somewhere? That's pretty harsh to be about an hour away from one. Damn. Also, sorry to hear about the headset issue. Wouldn't put it past them to pull something like that.

Kansas, small town and an hour away from Wichita. Sucks like no other.

i think last time went game store was back Cataclysm Ex pack for world of Warcraft.

You know, its funny. I probably have only been there maybe twice, three times including this past visit since that xpack dropped.

Yep. Some stores only got copies that were pre-ordered. They literally got NO copies for the shelves. They are freaking retarded. The second store I stopped at said it only had 3 copies but 14 minutes later when I showed up they said they had none. Whether or not they ever had 3 is a mystery. The last story had one, but not before some cop pulled me over for an expired tag.

FUCK MY LIFE.

yeah, that is bullshit, the only reason why the whole franchise hasn't gone under yet is because it's a last resort to get games and movies(at least that's been my experience)
