Just a quick question to anyone who cares. Am I imagining people around my age and younger having terrible work ethic, or being really...REALLY bad at customer service? does anyone 25 and under want to do they job? Like Fo real, i hope I'm just being an over sensitive asshole with too much pride and self importance. Because if I'm not...
no hope, no future hahaha
no hope, no future hahaha
Not to mention also that the mental health market and study session is still filled with people who still do the "Well why haven't you killed urself yet kid B^)" crowd.
With this as well, you have old folks not having/coming out of retirement to fill up on the jobs people still think "you can just do it to raise money for college."
There's a shit ton of possibilities and factors, but mostly that it's rough for everyone and there's not enough money/resources to do what you want.
At least artists online can slowly work towards it B,^)
We are not a generation of slackers... And we aren't anymore prone to complaint or laziness than generations previous. Its a delusion of self-grandeur endorsed by older people crying for things to go back to when they were the ones breaking the molds and solving the problems of our lives.
All jobs suck. My father was a geophysicist riding helicopters out to enormous Utah vistas to hammer sound under the earth and collect data. That sounds rad as fuck. And he was damn good at it. But he hated the job because bosses suck, because companies suck.
To say you love your work means you either got ridiculously lucky, you just started it and have yet to be disillusioned, or you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and didn't have to claw your way up.
If our generation hates working, that's only because working sucks, because working has always sucked. But if you got any sense you will know you have to do it. and then party on the weekends.
because there are european counties that are better off.
