Does anyone feel like talking?

I'm feeling a bit down right now. Does anyone feel like talking or something?
Not about me though, but just anything in general.

I burned myself out drawing last night; so I have to take a break for the entire day.
That being said, what kind of dessert are you in the mood for at the moment? What are you're thoughts on penguins? And last but not least, would you be interested in joining a cult with the promise of no membership dues or suicide pact?
Penguins...um....I like how they...fly?
Also, I think I'll pass with the cult. :3
so what are you up to today?
I notice that I don't get much attention anywhere; so I figured
going out and talking to people might help that out.
Honestly I think a lot of the time when people find great artist people are reluctant to talk to them because they aren't sure how the artist will be. It's kind of sad cause most popular furry artist I've talked too are pretty laid back. I'd say just keep at it and your social network will build. If nothing else, I'll talk to you. Just be warned, i'm not all right in the head at times.
I'm curious as to know how others manage to do it.
Also, I do find it a bit odd that some people see my art and think I'm popular; but when they check my watcher count, it's the exact opposite. X3
I can barely get more than two watchers a week.
I absolutely love the art. But just seeing others' growing numbers over and over again compared to mine is just crushing.
Especially when you've been doing it for a number of years now. I've even come to a point where I can't look at anyone's
art without feeling down.
I actually took some time off and stopped writing for like a year and I actually asked myself, who am I doing this for? When I realized I was doing it for myself I was able to write and be happy with what I produced. Some times I look at new artist who explode over night getting like 100 watchers in a week but then I remember I'm not them. I have my watchers and my furry entourage who were worth the wait.
I'm not going to tell you you'll figure it out and get over the numbers in a day or a week but I will say small steps are better then no steps. And like I said, if nothing else you can talk to me about it.
And if if makes you feel any better, You have twice the watchers I have and I've been here just a little over four years her longer then you. Pretty much the same on IB too.
I also wish I knew how to look past those exploding new artists like you do. I come across them often. Because the older, more popular artists might hurt, but the new ones that get literally double your watchers in months compared to the years you took to get to that point is just soul crushing.
But yeah, in a way, I guess 2 watchers a week is better than none. (I probably shouldn't have said that seeing that sometimes, I don't get watchers for an entire week. :c ) I'm hopping that some point, I could get popular enough to open a Patreon and get enough support so I could do this full time. But unfortunately, to most, that translate to them that I draw just to be popular; which I don't. It gets really frustrating having someone preach to me that, "oh, you should draw for you; and not for popularity. Because you're just gonna fail." No shit I draw for me!
If I didn't, I would be drawing Undertale and FNaF stuff right now.
But good on you for not giving up. Believe me when I say it's hard to look past people that just blow up. I mean my girl friend started doing furry art and she exploded. We tease each other about it still.
I also hear you about the popularity shaming i guess you can call it. I don't want to sound like a broken records but again fuck them. People will knock you cause they aren't happy with how their art is going so they try to bring others down with them so they aren't loathing alone. I'm not saying you should go all in and put everything into doing art full time to make money. Keep looking for work and taking commissions if you want but don't let other people tell you what to do.
And yes I get the ironic factor of me telling you to do something and that something is to not listen to people to try to tell you to do something.
But seriously, fuck the haters. They are gonna keep trying to bring you down no matter what. Do what you feel is right for you. You want o make a Patreon, do it. I mean the worse thing that will happen is you get no pledges but you did take a step forward. If you are worried about how people will react, ask your watchers how they feel. You'd be surprised how they feel about Patreon and some don't mind. They could even give you suggestion how to set it up.
But like I've been saying, I'll listen if you want to talk. If you rather be more discrete note me here or PM me on IB. I'll be around. Hope this helps you at least a little.
How about you?
No one wants me. :P
I just got a call for an interview today! :O
All that seems to be coming out is just superhero movies.
Though I did just see Zootopia; and that was cool. .3.
Also, yes. Was cool indeed.
Just sayin' that's the side I'm on, though I have a good hunch on how it ends.
