That's crazy. It's still hard to believe that people, family even, that still give a shit about stuff that's inconsequential to them, and how they actively try to fuck with people even though what they do doesn't effect them.

Well, that's what happens when religion is overly influencing the way people live their lives. People live life how they wanna live it, it's no-ones place to force their beliefs and lifestyles on another.

I see it both ways all the time. And you're right! It makes me sick! You can't convert people at gunpoint, even your own family. And the scriptures say almost in bold letters "Mind your own business!" Even if someone "sins" you talk to them privately about it. These people don't even know their own faith!

Religion in general just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, ESPECIALLY when it's used in this kind of manner. Ironically, I was raised fairly religious, but opened my eyes as I grew older.

I'm sorry, but that is just plain dumb, I respect religion for what it is. But when it goes too far as to trample on people's right to a free choice. That's when I start thinking its just wrong. (Not naming any religions as to not single them out.) I also think it's wrong when a family especially your own starts pressuring one to do or stop doing something that they don't want to do "for the sake of the family." Yes they may be family in al, but that's still trying to strip a person's free choice away by peer pressuring them. Anyways I'll stop ranting, if I offended anyone, I simply didn't mean to do so. But that is how I feel about such situation that patto's bud is in.

Agreed, the choice is theirs alone to make. They are very happy doing art rather then working retail in a store somewhere for their wages. None of what they do is harming anyone else and their family had to go VERY out of their way to find this 'incriminating' art.

I love Pyxus so much, I've gotten lots of things from them and always had such joy talking to them and I can't believe that this kind of thing would happen to someone so sweet. You'd think as long as your child is happy, safe, healthy that would be enough. I will support as much as I can though!

Something similar (although not on this level) happened to me. It made me not want to let people have the privilege of knowing my art alias if they were just going to find something slightly raunchy and then be huge narrow-minded cry babies about it. :/

Luckily for me I just got to stay with my mate, but it's really depressing when people sound the alarms because "OH NO A SEXUAL THING WE MUST STOP IT!!!!!!!!!11" and end up in a tough situation like your friend.

I really hope your friend recovers from this and gets enough fans to get going again! ;v;/
