Where I am, What I'm doing

Thought I'd pop in a tell people what I'm doing (since I'm an incredible narcissist and love talking about myself).
Life is pretty busy, but good. I would like a few more naps, but that's a general constant anyway.
Things I have queued or am working on:
MFM '16 image - the digital painting I started is still intimidating me, but I've made some promising progress on some nouveau/deco style design sketches. Skunks and their tails are still nearly impossible to draw.
ArConsas - I've been working this week on an image for that con - their theme is fairy tales, so I am doing an image from a classic Firebird/Baba Yaga tale. It's coming along pretty well. I'm rather pleased that I seem to be pulling it off, too.
Illustration - a friend has requested I do a few pen and ink illustrations for a story he has started writing. I am currently reading the story (very slowly) but I am getting some good mental images I need to sketch for him to look at.
Meme- I still need to do the draw it again meme. I sat down to work on it a couple weeks ago but I was sputtering really hard. Will come back to this later.
Tasty Sponge - I have gotten together with a couple friends in an attempt to put together a short comic book (hoping to do 8-16 pages). We have met to discuss it a couple times and are still pretty early in the concept phase. I am enjoying it greatly, but am being realistic with my expectations that this may or may not result in a finished product. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Anywho! That's what's up with me. Hope you're doing okay. Feel free to comment about your lives and what's going on with you (I am genuinely curious about most of you). As always: thank you for reading this and your eyes are appreciated!

I have started the story and am formulating some compositions in my mind, though. Will have to chat with you about that sometime soon.
