AC is a bust

Things turned for the worse for me financially over March and April. They're turning around now, but not fast enough for me to count on a trip to AC.
Shame, AC09 would be my one-year anniversary of furry con-going. I feel like I should go to make up for how tepid I was at my first furcon. I also really looked forward to having G-man appear at the zOMG Aliens! theme year.
Many of my new furry friends feel the same way. But those same friends are talking about taking large trip to Corpus Christi. That should make up for the huge con gap between now and MFF, and be less expensive.

I had been stalking over the Internet for a couple of years since then, namely Youtube and Funday Pawpet Show, so I'd known a bit before going in.
I'm telling you, you all have blown me away. This time last year I viewed you at a great distance through tiny Internet catheters, now you all randomly glomp me and stop animating in fursuit to take pictures of me as G-man or Strangelove. I love you all.
Perhaps there is someone looking for last minute roommates and you might be able to get space in a hotel room for cheap depending on how many others are sharing the room. I don't remember what state you're in, but some airlines and Amtrak are reducing fares, so that could help with the cost of getting to the convention.
Don't worry, I've got a huge money shovel, it just broke in February for a couple of months.
Hope we meet up again in the future and I have a new wardrobe to exhibit. *snugs*
Johara, You're also one of those who blew me away. I didn't know you at all, and by the end of the con you glomped me from a distance at least twice. Yay!
Well, you being in Melbourne, it's a short jaunt for you to Chicago. Try to make MFF! In a way, MFF might be a more "real" time for me to celebrate an anniversary. I knew no one going to AC, but at MFF I met half the people in Rabbit's room.
