Hey folks!
I've been lurking out of the interwebs for a while, being on and off got a new machine, and after looking at modus operandi of some well established and successful (succesful being a relative term) artists, I'm wondering if people are still interested in seeing my non-folio stuff like OCs and some regular raunchy pictures for instance.
The question might be answered by itself but I'd like some insights or opinions to give it weight:
Would you rather financially support an artist trough is own updates and freebies in exchange from tips, like from patreon or stuff he would sell as official products like my actual folios?
I understand Its been a while I havent published updates for everybody to see and lately I feel like working on a few nice and raunchy pictures there and there with my OC arloth <3 !
The thing is I'm getting late on my folios but would like to take a break from those without too much penalty for my Patreon backers and would still like them to have some content! :C

I hope I'm understanding your questions right.
And maybe the best way to go about it is to only post finished sketches every now and then as an update but offer donors a fill colored version (which I've actually seen done with your folios) so that there's still an incentive for those who support you. Even if sketches never go anywhere as far as selling the go, or you decide to color a picture anyway, you can still find a good balance between submissions you want for Patreon/Folios and drawings for just updates.
Personally I think a drive/fundraising type thing would be neat too where you could have it be Example: Donate money to see this character take bigger and bigger objects up their ass! lol There's always options like that to help sell your art. The only problem with that is Patreon users would need an incentive too. I haven't used it a whole lot but could you maybe do this through Patreon?
Thanks for the nice answer and support! :)
Having said that, I think I prefer tips or commissions. Though they start off slow, once you get a large following you can make a consistent, and very nice sum of money doing it. :)
