Pretty pathetic, I'm looking back and forth and it makes no sense still

I'm pretty sure he changed his setting so now I can only see the things he reblogs and not the things he posts.

And what does that accomplish?

I honestly don't know. a friend of mine who wasn't even following him reported the same thing. they can only see reblogs which means he may have deleted everything from the blog but I'm not sure.

When someone commissions an artist, both the artist AND the client have every right to repost the material as they wish. The client PAID for it, so it's theirs to have without altering it, yet it also is owned by the artist. So if you chose to repost it directly, or reposted from his blog or whatever, that's your prerogative. He can't rely on your fans to generate more fans for himself. That's his job as the artist, to do his own promoting.

At least that's how I always saw it x.x If you don't want it posted, then don't draw it in the first place. It's the net, EVERYTHING get's posted.

this whole situation is pretty funny. first he asks me not to delete the links he includes to the artists page from the post I reblog from him (the link to the artists can't be deleted from reblogged posts BTW), he's worried that the artist will get less exposure from me not including the links(again the links are always there and can't be deleted, I simply remove the text of the post). when I refuse he blocks me and after I make my post he goes off on some kind of tantrum and eventually admits that me not including the text linking to the artist doesn't negatively affect him or the artists so the only reason he blocked me was to be an asshole.

Hrm.. I'm unfamiliar with the whole blogging scene, but I do know not showing a link to an artist's work doesn't help them, but it doesn't take anything away either. It's more or less just the polite thing to do :) But if you couldn't delete the link anyways, then yeah, sounds like he just wanted to be a dick, misunderstood the situation, over-reacted, then blocked you when he realized he screwed up and his ego took a pounding XD
