Small boxes are quick sudden expressions. The bigger the boxes, the more expressive the characters are. Usually small boxes are like zoom in shots. Larger boxes or a panel is for scenary, large movements like flying but the choices are very extensive. I recommend studying a movie or anime or learning from furry bara comics on how the artist expresses their actions, movements, emotions etc. Each time the view is changed, the movements, they are the same in a comic.
If you have comic books, learn from those. Do not copy from it. Just learn the concept and the point, figuring out yourself scenes by your characters in your story.
Daydreaming and brainstorming, privately and relaxing will help.
Thats all there can be explained. The rest you have to do it on your own.
like it was said above, it's like a movie. imagine the whole story in your mind. then, start writing a "script".
example: page 1, panel 1: character standing up, view from the side, in front of the store clerk. character: "hi, one coffee, please!"
an like that, you write the whole comic. then, you start drawing, panel for panel, everything you wrote down. writing it first helps you to keep the whole thing cohesive, and also it will prevent you from repeating the same shots and poses too much (which is really easy to oveerlook if you don't write it first, since comics take a long time to do and you might forgot you already did something in the same comic a few pages before).
There's also a sequel called Making Comics which gets more in-depth on how they're made, but both are fantastic resources for knowing how comics work and how to make 'em~
