I do regularly DM a game for my local group actually hehe, sadly PRETTY CERTAIN none would be into cubby content. One's a father (and incidentally my supervisor at work) that's all too eager to start potty training his 3 year old, because apparently just about every-time we play his son shortly after being put to bed clean.. Is in most severe need of a change, and will let EVERYONE know at top of lungs volume x.x'

But apparently only when we play D&D there, despite a fixed bedtime, and trying different days of the week? .-.'

Never played a game that needs a DM before myself but I did, for shits and giggles, sit in on one with some friends. Let me tell you, never having seen how a DM does what he/she does, and not knowing the guy who was DMing that night personally... I could only conclude that the dude was a raging dickhead, lol. I know better now that he was just doing his job and he turned out to be a really friendly guy but MAN! I thought he was a prick for how devastating he was to the player's characters, hyuck hyuck.

Oh yeah no, being a DM is a fine art of making the game difficult, sometimes even seemingly impossible; and yet somehow manageable, or knowing just when you need to give your players a break, or when to dangle that tantalizing reward. My current campaign I'm using a bought adventure which I've had to modify for only 3 players instead of 5, and the book is INSANELY mean, so I've had to cut them a lot of slack and even a few hints.

But if you didn't know I had a script that was meaner, you'd think I was just out to kill off all my players as soon as possible and laugh at them. They picked up like 2 of the weakest healing potions and not even 10 gold between the three of them for treasure, and nearly died a dozen times for it. >,<' but the experience reward at the end of this act of the part of the adventure is pretty large, so it'll make it worthwhile.

I think there's a point when everyone feels overwhelmed as a caretaker. We just have to recognize when it's starting to happen and take a break. :)

Lol, yeah, found that out the hard way a year or so ago. But you're right, a break can definitely recharge your batteries and reset your priorities, that's for sure.

Oh, good question! I'm not sure how many species of dog I've drawn. I've never counted. I think I've never drawn a pug before. They're pretty cute. :3
