Hey everybody!
and I are back from kids comic con, had a wonderful time. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional the entire time. A bit bummed we didn't sell as many Dino coloring books, since parents would just drag their kids away from our table when they realized they had to pay for stuff. A kid legit started just grabbing things from our table and started to walk away so I had to stop him X3
But the experience was great. Tiny con but nice people.
Now that I only have a couple of weeks left of school I'm happy that I'll be continuing the commissions I had to put on hold due to the overwhelming amount of projects and con prep. Commissions will be opening friday but work won't start until I finish my batch that's long due. But since I got people on the waitlist , I want to get the info for the commissions and get back to the hang of things.
So I had to get a physical done a couple months ago and blood work, just received a bill in the mail because my insurance decided that they won't cover check ups unless it's a medical emergency. Had to pay 300 that didn't have, welp, thought it was over after putting it on my credit card. Seems my blood work wasn't covered either and was billed for another $600 and $103 . I'm changing insurance in august because this is ridiculous. So yeah I'll be doing as many commissions as I can over the summer to cover my bills. I'm trying to contest the $600 bill so I have time to raise the money.
Eternal con will be happening on June so I will make another commission hold about 2 weeks before the con to make sure all is ready for it. It's a 3 day convention and will hopefully make me enought money to pay for the bills. Anyways enought of my complaining. Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
