Small Art Dump and Commission Thoughts...

Posted some art I forgot to post or just finished (finally...). With how long it's taken me to get through these commissions has gotten me thinking about stuff. Mostly about how I can get them done quicker with my kind of work schedule. Extra work tends to be a 12 hour day which doesn't leave much time for many things before or afterwards in the day (which ruins my workout schedule grrrr) like drawing. So I pretty much had no time to draw unless I had a day off but that quickly filled up with seeing friends or doing apartment cleaning.
But what's great about my job is that it fits my schedule. I could change when I'm available each week for whatever days I like. If I wanted to I could be available every day to work but fuck that, I'm not gonna kill myself working all the time for money. I'm already taking Sundays off but one day of definite time off sucks. What I'd love to do is work only 4 or 5 days a week and have one day set on the side for commission work. But if I take another day of the week off from work I'd like to compensate that with good money from commissions....
Which would mean raising my prices. Not by a lot! Like, I'd start with just a $10 raise or so on everything. I've somehow started becoming popular and demand for commissions from me has started to rise and in order to keep supply up I need to make it worth it.
If I can make drawing furry art my day job instead of extra work that'd be sick! That'd leave a lot more time for me to work on my acting career. But for now that means charging $20 for a sketch instead of $10.
I of course don't want to push myself out of anyone's price range but making some serious income out of this would help me out a bunch. If this becomes regular enough I could do weekly streams and maybe do a Patreon down the road.
How does that sound to you all? I'll settle on prices after I finish this batch of commissions. And thank you all for your support so far, it means so much to me!!

I know that asking an artist to put a price on his/her/etc. work is very difficult, since you always expect the best of yourself: how could you put a price on your best effort? It certainly doesn't equate to an hourly job, for sure. It's all supply and demand. I would think that if your commission queue fills up quick, it's pretty open to fluctuating a price increase next time around. I say give it a shot.
