**Update on George**
Well, we got the vet call today... he told us that they could remove the bullet but they don't recommend. It's too risky of a surgery and the bullet is just in a place that it's actually not doing any harm. The surgery would do more harm than if they just left the bullet in there.
So. I know the question you've all been waiting for.
What am I going to do with the money you donated?
I am going to go over to my boyfriend's house and round up all the stray cats (and let me tell you, there's a lot and more coming) that are in desperate need of fixing(spaying/neuter)
It's almost like an infestation and I was planning to get them fixed anyway when I had the chance so this is actually pretty convenient.
I'm sorry that I it happened this way. I hope you all aren't angry with me.
But you all deserve to know what's happening as well.
It's a big surprise to me as well and I feel awful for getting donated money.
I hope this cause is just as important to you as it is to me to spend the money on. :(
Again, thank you to all of you who have donated to George. I really appreciate it and it means the world to me that I have people to count on if something like this ever goes wrong again.

FA+

My mom has a bullet in the middle of her leg bone from when she was younger and they left it.
Glad the money is still going to good use!
I would have begged them to remove it... I can only imagine the discomfort still of having it lodged in there.
And thank you, I still wanted to make a difference and this is a perfect opportunity. These kitties aren't necessarily feral and last year, most of the kittens died of fading kitten syndrome.
Which was devastating to me. I can't take it. :(
And ah that's sad :(
