Kidney results/update
Just wanted to let you guys know what happened yesterday at the Kidney specialist.
Basically Their are two different options going forward depending on what the doctors find out. The long and short is I am going to have to go in for a biopsy in the next few days, where they will use micro surgery tools to remove a chunk of my kidney and test it for blood borne issues.
The two things that could be wrong are either Diabetes (if it is this then their is little they can do other than try and get a new kidney eventually. It will mean suffering these same problems for years while eventually going on dialysis) or an autoimmune disorder. If it is an autoimmune disorder I would be able to manage issues with medication most likely. I did not consider this a possibility at first, however after talking to my mother I found out this is a very likely possibility. I was not aware but, My fraternal grandmother had Lupus, and my mother's sister also contracted Polio at a young age. This combined with my sisters autoimmune disorder means this could be a very likely situation.
I am not sure what I am hoping for here... I am currently still massively bloated from water weight gain (they did change my pills yesterday to a more intensive medication and I am hoping this will work.) In a few minutes I will be heading into town to see my cardiologist to see what can be done eventually about getting a heart transplant. Other than that things are the usual.... still not looking forward to Saturday but that's usual for my birthdays.

I'm sure things will work out either way. But hopefully by the sounds of it, like you said, the latter should be more manageable.
