No one says it precisely, but it appears to be the case: Dreamworks Animation is going away. Comcast plans to fold DWA's feature animation properties into Universal Animation, which is presumably only going to be interested in DWA's most financially successful stuff, like Shrek and Madagascar (and their tie-ins). At this point they MAY complete How To Train Your Dragon 3 and The Croods 2, since they're both in the production line already. But Kung Fu Panda 4 through 6? You can pretty much kiss that goodbye.
Frankly I'm not really tickled about any of this :(

It looks like the CEO of DWA will stay on...Comcast must have given him a very sweet deal for him too stay on.
Funney though...I was involved with a project and heard about a 3 million write off including canning the project I was working with...
