Dear Nit-wit Video Game designers.

Would you please actually listen to players and actually make good stuff? Of course that's excepting most indie developers. A few well-needed digs are needed here.
First, to Nintendo, whom according to one writer for Forbes is a company that "thrives on crisis." Let's say since the GameCube I haven't been gun-ho for any of their main consoles save for a few of the games that are good and I'd like to play them...if they didn't have all that baggage of gimmicks (those games being PunchOut! because there's lots of good humor in there, the two Smash Bros. titles on the Wiis - but there's a minor gripe since Bandai Namco were helping them with the WiiU edition, and just maybe New Super Mario Bros. if I can play solo without pesky nieces sabotaging good players) and a lack of really good standout games (other than Zelda: Skyward Sword), not much in the way of third party games and as I said, gimicky controls. First with Star Fox: Zero - even without playing it I think the controls are garbage where you have to use two screens to control things and putting gyro controls into the brick they call the "tablet" controller. Those gyros would work so much better if they had a controller like a PS Sixaxis controller (which I have used before on the PS3 before mine broke) and you didn't have to stare away from all the real action. And...short as poop levels, a tower defence game that would have been better as an app (and all they have on mobile is Miitomo right now), and a bad rehash of StarFox 64. Yeah, you're killing yourself. And then, the announcement that the "NX" is coming out after our next President is sworn in along with the release of the new Zelda title for both the Wii U and the "NX." That's how you treat players who have bought the WiiU for this title...like we are idiots in a mobile game (and some of those microtransactions can cost as much as a AAA game; which StarFox Zero is priced as). Dear Nintendo, in creating such a gimicky platform just to test your "innovations," you're making unhappy gamers and when you don't have good games we're gonna emulate and Virtual Console the games we like. There is some scuttlebutt that the "NX" maybe more conventional, but they really need to deliver with both a good Zelda title and a real Metroid title (same goes for Golden Sun and StarFox).
That leads to my other main rant...yes, you Rovio. I like playing Angry Birds: Epic but you really, REALLY need to learn how to make good RPGs because as it is, your game relies too heavily on RNG and gambling (yes, those Friendship Essences are use to reroll that loot and open gates, but even then on those wheels, they don't guarantee you get what you want); PEGI in Europe shut down the Pokemon Game Corner past Gen IV (though there's no real money used in them) and you're beyond that using Friendship Essences that either require real money or wasting lots of time badgering people on Facebook for them (and badgering them to play as well), which means you're gambling with real money for stuff that has no real value outside the game. >.< Here's a suggestion; just give us the spoils and other goodies and don't make us slaves to the RNG. Speaking of, that also goes for the coin toss in the PvP arena where the toss can screw up your chance for a fair challenge. This is a case where they should have made it a little more complex than they have it for stats. Give us speed and defense stats here...and do your matchmaking by the bird, not the "power" ranking because someone might have a better banner, but you're facing birds a few levels and class ability levels higher, which really tips the battle in their favor. And finally with the Set items and such, why can't those just level up with your character instead of making us have to slave over RNG rolls just to get ones that are better? In fact, instead of going to Chimera, you should have talked to Obsidian for your RPG stuffs - they did Stick of Truth which is a very simple RPG that works extremely well. This particular rant could run for a looooong time since Epic has other annoying flaws (why does ever pig/bird go after Chuck first - poor guy can't get anything done and he's supposed to be the fast birdie. A Persian would just laugh at the AI and like Gen I Pokemon just dodge all the attacks, then crit hit the lot).
But yeah, those are two particular points of video game ranting I wanted to share with y'all. Another less ranty post to come shortly.

And the new Zelda was promised to be a WiiU only title, remember. Saying it will be dual-platform was also part of the disappointment with the announcement.
The problem with the WiiU was that people assume that it was a accessory sine they shown tablet controller, it was actually a good concept to play game without a TV. Developers didn't know what to do with it and they didn't really need to used it and Nintendo don't to be too focus on the gimmick like they did with the Wii. The back of the game pak do show what controllers to use. Nintendo doesn't want to use fancy graphics because they're more focus with game-play Spatloon was their new IP
It best for the NX not to be shown at E3.
Starfox Zero was pretty much Starfox 64 2. It has almost no replay value for a game that is $60 dollars and a loved franchise that hasn't has a good game in a decade (sorry Command). Plus the control made it almost unbearable to play. Great point about making Slippy defense or whatever it's called a mobil app, because thats a disc that will never be used. Only thing I use my tablet for is another TV for Smash when my TV is busy. Not having anything at E3 is also a very bad move that really just pisses off your fan base. At least with the NX they realized the WiiU has failed and are trying to make an actual council now that will have more than 6 games made for it.
