14 YEARS OF LOOKING - I FOUND MY FAMILY!!!!!

I want to say a HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to you guys who cheered me on!!

So I want to give you guys an update as I have done absolutely nothing productive all weekend, but I have an amazing reason for why.
Last year on May 12th, I sent a message to someone I was 99.9% sure was my aunt and just hoped for a response.
I never got one.
Until last week. Not only did she say OMG YES that she was my auntie, but I have my brother and sister that I knew about, and THREE more brothers!!!
The three boys grew up together and my older brother and sister grew up together, but the eldest two hadn't known about the younger three.
They all knew I existed. They were looking.
I can't even begin to tell you what emotions I feel, there is just so much going on in my mind, and we've got so much to catch up on. I don't want to know about our mom since I know she died and I don't want it to be a sore subject. She sounds like she was all over the place and I highly suspected drugs played a massive part after talking to my biological dad a few years ago over dinner. Being pregnant with me, she fled California and he tracked her down to a drug plantation in Virginia and convinced her to come back with him to have the baby safely, so I always suspected I was a drug baby but if I infact was I don't know what she was taking. Luckily he never took anything, never had any interest.
There are so many questions like why was I the only one adopted? It sounds like everyone else was taken by their fathers and lived life without her.
That all said, I'm happy that I have a massive Hawaiian family!! I've met an uncle and two aunties, a cousin and all of my siblings so far. I'm probably the most quirky of us all, but one brother sounds like he's pretty on par with me, as if we grew up as twins! Haha. He's just hella tall. >:|
They're scattered around, I'm obviously the only one in the UK. One in Colorado, 3 in Nevada, 1 in California, and me. So wow, I suddenly have 4 brothers and a sister.
If you've followed me on facebook you'll have seen my page just explode!!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT. HOLYCRAP IT HAPPENED.
RIGHT, so I'll get my badges done today and mailed out tomorrow for anyone going to CF, and then finish a massive image that Im half way done with, and I want to record my Aywr commission again which is why Ive waited a bit to complete it! I need a stretch of day where I'll have no interruptions so Ive cleared my calendar!

I hope you and your family are able to catch up on all those missed years.
My father, just having turned 60, recently made a similar discovery - finally finding his birthmother, him also having been given up at birth (his birthmother was 16 at the time, so at least he knows why)
I can only imagine that you're as happy with this as he is. Just be sure not to be too pushy or anything when trying to reconnect to this lost family: It might well be that not everyone among them are interested in making friends

I reunited with my mother who had been gone for 13 years just a few months ago.

I know what it's like to think why was I the only one. My mother dumped me in Cali and ran back to Virginia too (this must be a Virginia thing haha) I have a older brother and younger sister by her. And wi my bio dad 3 younger siblings :3
