I apologize for being so silent! I've been so busy lately with multiple things all at once.
Keeping up with Voc-Rehab ( A place that helps people with disabilities find word ), thankfully my grandmother finally helped me make a resume for myself and made some copies so I can begin to hand it out to places that are hiring, Keeping up with commissions, as well as slowly but surely drawing the raffle winner pictures, and now!
I am finishing a cosplay, props included, a DAY before a convention that my mate and I are going to tomorrow.
It was a last minute thing, so we were like.. Why not??
Been making props, badges, cosmetics and everything since 9AM yesterday, so heavily exhausted. Bleck, why do we do this to ourselves?? Making costumes days before the convention... ugghhh..
Anyway, we are going as Fem-Engineer and Soldier from Team Fortress 2! Wooo!
So far, I've made Soldier's cosmetic helmet antlers out of tin foil,masking tape, and paper machaye.. My mate made her grenades out of felt and fun foam and stitched it all BY HAND, I made Engineer's wrench out of foam board and masking tape, with a piece of a unused disposable chopstick we had lying around and we just need to go to walmart to pick up another can of gold spray paint, since we used up all of our spray paint, spraying down a " Disney's Tangled " foam, sound making frying pan gold.
We even attempted to make Soldier's black box rocket launcher, but... It was a complete fail. The box we used was a old beaten up Christmas tree box.. And the paint didn't take to well to the cardboard and it tore to shreds when we attempted to attach the latches for the dangling parts on each end of it.
All that's left is to make Soldier's belt patches and finish up one more grenade! And we're done.
Last minute cosplaying is stressful I tell ya'... @ w @;
