TwoKinds; I'm kind of moody over Flora's short lifespan
9 years ago
I'm wandering if anyone feels like sharing their thoughts on this topic of the popular furry comic TwoKinds.
I've recently started reading some of it after mainly just being a fan of te art style, but I feel kind of bad about the seemingly built in tragedy of Trace probably having to watch Flora age to death in as little as 9 years. The series has magic and mask gods that can do stuff, but after reading some of the forums and discussions it seems a bit more thurrowly built in with philosophical and pcycolagical aspects like "making the most of your mortality" kind of story or "it may not lead to happiness to live longer then what is mentally normal for your kind."
I was thinking of drawing a 30 year old trace holding the hand of a 20 year old Flora who's weak and basically in her death bed. Maybe I'd get more conversation from that then this journal.

FA+

I at first didn't think I'd want to read an indie comic and actually skimmed most of the early parts that didn't have Flora or Trace in any panel.
Anyway if you want to see the specific page, here's the page Trace finds out about how Flora would age to death by the time he's in his thirties;

Thanks for the friendly comment.
That detail cought me by surprise back when I was mostly just liking Flora's cuteness.
