You'd just be entering for yourself, but if you win you can request someone else's character to be drawn (as long as they're okay with you doing that).

Unfortunately entering to buff up someone else's chances could really be abused :/

No worries! It would be similar, you're right. Ultimately, I cannot stop you from giving us a ref of someone else's character--you (or another entrant) could link us a character that isn't yours and we would have no idea, so I can't stop you or anyone from giving me a friend's character even if I wanted to so I'm not going to make it against the rules.


But the raffle is for the winner regardless of what character is chosen and the winner will have to be the one to request it. It doesn't make sense to me to then contact someone who was totally uninvolved in the raffle, potentially not even watching either of us, and ask for a reference. Somehow that doesn't seem fair.

Asking others to advertise your raffles via journals is against FA rules, sadly :'c I got my journal deleted and received a warning from mods.
