I have to admit that I actually wasn't aware of this someone brought this to my attention again. So aparently I have a Youtube channel again, and it wasn't made by me.

Now, I generally don't care anymore if people if people upload my stuff on youtube because let's face it, it happens anyways. However, this guy uses my logo, name, and downright pretends to be me by answering comments in my name. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tcy0v7jk048

If he'd just put the videos there without any comment I'd likely don't care much, but here I'm being impersonated by someone who doesn't exactly seem competent. I want to clarify to anyone coming here that this isn't me, so please, if anyone has questions regarding my work, leave them either here, my FA, or deviantart account. Not sure if I should feel concerned or flattered someone actually wants to pretend he's me. :D

Well, if he's impersonating you and putting words in your mouth; then yeah you should report him. It's probably not good to let him run around doing that.

Kind of hard to do since I don't want to associate my real name with this stuff. Plus it would likely be hard to prove either way since I'm not running a business with this. Chances are these videos are even monetized, but I haven't checked for that yet. I think I actually don't want to check for that in the first place. :I

true, but regardless of if you're running a business or not it's still your content that they are using without permission. Even if you have to enter your information, it will not go public and probably will only be used for the youtube takedown. I can understand not wanting your real name on it, but the thing is this person is pretending to be you, and could possibly cause damage if they are not taken down.

I just hope this can be resolved in a way that you feel comfortable doing, and i'm sorry this is happening...

Ugh, it's just horrible that anyone would pretend to be someone they aren't like that. Sad really. Hopefully they'll get their comeuppance soon enough T-T

That's awful, it would be good if you put a transparent watermark in the middle of your videos telling the viewer to go check your Furaffinity account since this is the official one. Although this seems kind of flattering too, your work is so good that some people want to impersonate you xD
I also saw 2 or 3 of your videos on Pornhub but the person who uploaded it or the people from the comments already knows or clarifies that to see more artwork like this they need to look for CakeInferno on Furaffinity.

I report the videos for sexual content well some of them since others gave me an error.

I love how other then the people who caught this guy, All those idiots and morons are saying "This is good, can you make more?" How pathetic they are, even with the first comments being that he's being pointed out for being a fake.

Wow someone seriously got away with doing this? I am surprised that the channel hasn't been taken down yet. Not to mention that almost everyone is flagging the videos for sexual content. I think you should of just kept your Youtube channel with no videos on it and then no one would be able to impersonate you.

Funny thing is that none of thier videos are HD. I think the highest quality they have capped at is 480. *shrugs* I didn't even notice the comments or I would have said something.

Anyone who actually reads the words you write would probably figure out pretty quick that that's a fake account. You actually seem to, you know, understand English. And behave in a professional manner.

But jeez. Though I respect the hell out of your skill, I don't envy your popularity.

Experiencing all of this actually makes me respect artists here more and more. I can barely imagine what the most popular ones in this community must be going through and can relate even more so if someone gets burned out from all this. Many might find popularity itself here intriguing, but unless one is planning to make a living from this community, I can't see the exposure being exclusively in one's favor here.

Yeah, no kidding. I'm sure the most popular ones work out some sort of system to manage the weirdos, but until that happens, things have to get pretty awful.
I guess that's probably why the more popular you tend to get as an artist, the more standoffish you tend to be, just as a general rule. XD
