As lousy as it was to lose FA for a few days, we're making some solid progress on a variety of stuff. Namely, we're looking into the cost to 3D print suit accessories and parts since we can't get the head blank we bought to look right in the style we need for Betty without a lot of modification.

We also updated our mic setup! I've never really been pleased with the mic arrangement we use - there's a bit of interference that needs to be removed from every clip in addition to the usual background noise. It turns out that switching to a different power supply and interface fixed it entirely! This was after months of rearranging everything before recording every project hoping to ferret out the problem - rerouting cables, checking connections, using every USB port on my entire computer with each combination of other factors, then getting frustrated and having Fox fix it with noise cancelling in post.

I feel kind of dumb for not catching it sooner, but that's how it goes. Anyway, I've got more tweaking to do to make sure I'll be ready to get back in the booth for the last couple of commissions in the queue so don't expect everything done tonight, but I'll post a before and after mic test once I have our new setup finalized.

Hopefully, it'll mean clearer and sexier audio than ever before, with less editing and cleanup work for Fox!
