My post BLFC Report
It's been a while since I did one of these.
The one thing I notice is FA double dipped and posted my departure journal twice. Soo, that means I got twice the number of responses!
In response to the biggest question I got:
The Biggest Little Fur Con is hosted at the Sierra Grand Resort and Casino in Reno, NV. The majority of the furs I see there are west coast furs. However, this year I noticed the number of east coast furs increasing. This con has grown by over 1,000 attendees every year, and this was it's 4th year.
This is a well run con with a management staff that really cares that the attendees enjoy themselves.
The hotel is comfortable, the con space massive, and there are several eating establishments in the resort. There's a Walmart right across the street, too.
Now for the good part-well, maybe not so good:
Because of having to fly, I only took Fu Manchu to suit around in, and for Beastcub's photo shoot.
I did have fun all day Friday, meeting old friends, surprising a few, and making new ones. I also picked up something new to try out at Anthrocon.
I woke up Saturday morning with a bad case of what I believed at the time was the result of something I ate the night before. This pretty much killed any appetite and kept me pretty much down in bed for most of the day. I was able to suit up and make it to the group photo and festival Saturday evening, and do a photo shoot on Sunday.
Sunday night it hit me again, this time with almost uncontrolled shivering.
Monday I caught my flight home. I'm still recovering from whatever made me sick, but I'm feeling a lot better than I was. From what I understand, there were others who had the same problems, and that it was possibly some form of virus.
Thank you to everyone who has messaged me asking how I am doing. It means a lot to me.
