First off, welcome back.
Now, don't breathe a sigh of relief just yet, because we're not out of the woods.
It's common knowledge by now that the attack that wiped out FA's database and took the site offline occurred because FA's source code was leaked. Hackers were able to reverse-engineer an exploit in the code that allowed them to manipulate the sites functions maliciously. The problem here is that this isn't a one-time thing. With the source code of this website lain naked before anyone who goes looking for it, complete security is not going to be had until FA sees a total recoding.
We were promised a fresh coding what, ten years ago? That obviously never happened, because now we are in condition critical with our source code...which is known to be old, hacky, and full of bugs...exposed to everyone. FA may be back up and running again, but it is running on borrowed time, and I have little confidence that they'll be doing anything more than emergency damage control from here on out.
Unless IMVU steps in, that is.

Weasyl or SF are far better to FN, which feels like Facebook, but with an artsy component.

I literally cannot get traffic on IB.
InkBunny will always have a stigma attached to it for allowing cub art, I think. That's why most of my friends don't go there.
Where Do We Go From Here?
We have been working on a complete re-code of the site for some time. At this point the project is roughly 80% complete. We are working to bring in additional help to complete the project and get FA upgraded to a new code base.
In the meantime we will be continuing to analyze site security and take proactive steps to track down any existing issues which could pose a threat.

... Even if they're being wholly transparent about this, they've only done 80%, which means we're looking at however long it's taken them to get this far plus a little extra to wait.
