Maybe, but even if it does, that will probably not help prevent such events in the future. Newer sites aren´t necessarily safer, and there is always a chance of someone exploiting a loophole.

I just hope those responsible for the leak and attack will find a more worthwhile pastime eventually.

Granted, but change can make it safer for a time. That's what evolution is for.

The most annoying part for me was losing an abnormally busy week of new watchers and comments. Now those feel like they're gone for good, and I'm struggling to remember the titles and songs I posted with commissions (a ritual I always do). So while not a visual artist myself, I did lose a lot of content. Oh well.
