Frelsari [Original Open Species]

If these guys become popular, i'll update this or add informative pictures, but for now, here is some base information on an open species I've created.

Sex: Male to Female Ratio: 1:3BackgroundThe Frelsari are a species best defined by their instincts. They seek a life motivated by protecting something, whether it be a lover, a cause, an item, or family. Though a Frelsari may spend a good time searching for a cause, it is known to them when they have found it as their halos will duplicate and a sensation of knowing will fill their being.
Once they have discovered their cause, they dedicate their life to it, no matter the cost. Often this will send a Frelsari through trials and hardships as they cannot decline from the will to protect and defend their cause, no matter the situation. This has led the species through several wars and once a cause is known, it can easily become a weakness to manipulation.
Through this the Frelsari have often been known as an aggressive or foolish species through the eyes of others, and are often regarded as lower-class beings.
Appearance
All Frelsari are canines with triangular markings and at least one small, glowing halo-like structure, often around their ears and/or joints. Those who have found their cause will have two halos in each location, while those without a cause will only have one.
They can have anywhere between 2-6 tails, and are born with however many they have (they cannot “earn” more tails like a kitsune). Young Frelsari start off with pure black fur and white markings, but by the time they reach adulthood (~10 years) their colors change depending on their personality, but maintain a dark base with lighter markings.
Personality colorations vary per canine, but cooler colors show for a caring and gentle personality, while warmer colors dictate a dominant and rougher personality. Occasionally the colors may seem ill fitting.
