I won't be leaving either. Largely because the alternatives are just as bad as FA, if not worse.

DeviantART is... DeviantART. 'Nuff said.
Tumblr's layout makes me cringe and 95% of the users don't know what a NSFW tag is for. Their customer support is terrible at that.
The other fur art sites like Weasyl are either just as problematic or have so few people that it is not work the time or effort to go there.

Having a backup site would be a good idea. Tumblr is more meant for Shitposting than for displaying art or stories. You better off With a dedicated site like DA, Weasyl, or Furry Network for your backup.

I doubt anyone would, or should, leave FA over this. But it's always a good idea not to make it the sole repository of your work. Weasyl is a popular backup site, though I find SoFurry works well for stories.

So furry for stories but Weasyl isn't exactly popular. But yay, he's back!

well that's good to hear, I thought this would mean the end of your stories, especially the muscle ones
