A Serious Question

Hello. It's been a while since I streamed or really gave any progress updates, well here's one. I'm in a bit of a bind. Long story short It's time for me to move on.
I still live with my parents, and they are cutting my internet usage for the reasons I'm not doing much just sitting up in my room, and I'm inclined to agree. In the time between now and then I've gotten a job and started taking better care of myself, these are the steps to getting better in their graces, but it may be a while longer before I can get back to my old self. This may be too much information... Anyway.
If I can turn my time on the internet... p-p-profitable... I can work on the mod, enjoy more time with friends, and just reclaim what I lost
With my current situation in mind. I'm seriously considering the option opening up a Patreon.
The Patreon would focus on me and my things and what I do, a freelance programmer, currently married to the Starbound Vore Mod. Supporting me on patreon would support me in being able to create updates and give me back some of my old life. I have said in the past and I will stay by my word. I will never have an option where you can buy your way into the mod. There will be no fast track to get your OC, your specific feature, your anything in faster. This mod and all content, and all upcoming content will be free for everyone for as long as I program for it. So that leads me to pose the question.
Would you support me on Patreon. Do you think this is a good idea? Do you think I'm just taking advantage of you and I am violating your trust? because I sort of do.
The Starbound Vore mod was not created by me, It was created by someone else on Eka's Portal (I won't mention their name because I dunno, maybe they don't want it. Maybe they don't like the FA because I don't see them here), most of the sprites are not mine, most of them were created by my very dear friend. Fans submit their own sprites, writing and ideas and we do our best to implement them. For these reasons I emphasize you would be patronizing me, not the mod. Patronize me working on the mod. I created the features. Animated SPOs, Vore Tenants, Macro Rooms, the Foodhall, RP tools, were all my doing, the logic and programming behind them at least. As well as parsing a lot of the fan created content. I don't want to tell everyone that their efforts have been all for naught... They've done wonderful work! But to continue my work, at least at a rate comparable to before. If I move onto another project I would expect some of you to cease your donations.
So of course that leaves me with the rewards people desire.
I'm thinking I'll put a big scrolling billboard in front of the foodhall with everyone's name who donates a certain amount. Keep in mind I can't keep content from other users of the mod either. I obviously need some more feedback. I also draw a bit if you want to commission me instead. I'm getting better but you won't see the high quality you see elsewhere.
Please discuss this down in the comments. Please let me know your thoughts, your feelings, any input you can give me. I'm in tight spot right now and need some help, not the money, but guidance.
Working on this project, the things I've seen, the people I've met. I don't want to give that all away. I'm sorry for putting this burden on you all. If the Patreon falls though, I will still try to makes stuff... but... I don't know.
I'll stream in like 20 minutes for my remaining time allotted so you can voice your support or condemnation for me. I will work on engineering a new feature!

One reward you could have is perhaps simply earlier access to major additions for beta testing before a proper release to the public (if such a thing were feasible)?
I hope you get some good feedback from others as you've been working very hard on this for quite a long time.

Either way, I think that patreonw ould be a good idea to make alittle bit of money for doing what you do for the starbound vore mod. You have done and implenmented so much. So I think that's a fair request. I thin you should open patreon and see if you get pledges.
I would love to hear some more input and suggestions in the mean time. Thank you all!
