Just curious. Why do you favor the weasyl links vs the fa links?

A couple reasons - on the technical side, Weasyl seems to retain the full quality of pictures (IE, doesn't recompress or resize them), and also allows a much larger picture by default. Socially, I just think Weasyl needs some love. :P I try to provide as many links as I can for an image when it's posted, so most of the time there is an FA link as well, but often when an image is offered on multiple site, the FA one tends to be the smallest/lowest quality of them all.

Yay for warm weather! It's been... very back and forth over on my side of the pond, we had one day that made me wish I'd put on my VFFs, then the next day it was back to being frigid again. Hoping this weekend goes back to beng summery, especially as Azakir and I will be road-tripping to Wales. ^^

The new format seems like a great idea for managing multiple links! With the rise of FN and the outage on FA, it just seems like there are going to be more and more parallel links from multiple sites to keep up with... why did I choose to join ALL the art sites again? >..<

I remember when you linked me to the video for Illium a while back. :) I still love it to bits, both the song itself and that awesome 80's-tacular video. So cool... and a track I went right out and purchased not long after you exposed me to it!

Great feature! I just recently started watching DoubleScale, so it's neat to be able to get to know him a little better through the Post! Really neat hearing his perspective also being relatively new to making art, and how he's come into doing that lately.

Road-tripping! You lucky dragon you. ^_^ And yes, heh - that's the only issue with VFF's in the spring - one day is great for them, another you'll freeze your toes off. XD

Glad you like the new format - seems most do again. That's one thing I'm always striving to try and do; make this easier to use.

For the faves - I didn't even know that SupScooter's was a fitbit joke until you said that. XD And of COURSE yours is a fave, OMG.... Dorey Feets! Do you have any idea how hard it was not making that picture the Most Pawesome JUST because they're your sexy, loving, awesome footsies!?

And good - feature served it's greater purpose then! I enjoy being able to introduce an artist better like that, and he certainly deserves the attention with his detailed work. Very nice guy too. ^_^

Aaaand back from the road trip now! Which was absolutely amazing. Will have to get some of the photos put up on my Flickr page when I can. We had a fantastic time, and Northwest Wales is hauntingly beautiful. We visited some castles, adopted a cute red dragon plushie, and climbed a mountain. I may be stiff for a few days. XD

Anyway! Yeah the new format really seems to work well. I just need to find time to catch up with the last Post now. ^^

As for not making the Doreyfeets by TideKeeper the Most Pawesome, well, I commend your ability to make unbiased decisions. XD But it does mean a lot that my paws are always rated so highly by you!

Doh... I just cancelled my Flickr subscription and deleted my account today. Tired of how awful that site has become to use, but also really angry in that it was over 2700 photos, each meticulously labelled and geo-tagged, all lost because Yahoo made the site so awful to use that I got complaints any time I linked people to it.

However, Flickr-rant aside, I just checked your account (to make sure I still remembered the URL) and holy moly! Sexy pirate Dorey! O_o When did that happen!? :3 Wow.

Heh, and Dorey-feets are ALWAYS an instant fave, instant Most-Pawesome in my mind because they're not only so, so attractive and wonderful but so is the wonderful soul behind them. ^_^ *hugs tight*

Meef. :( I very much agree with how bad Yahoo's made it, so I can't blame you! I've already put enough time into editing and uploading and describing my photos there though that I'm really not looking to re-do all that work somewhere else, so... for now, despite the terrible interface I think Flickr is going to keep being the main place for my photos, since the other art websites I all use for my artwork. So if you can deal with the crappy interface for short and occasional use, I'll try to let you know when I'll be dumping a load of vacation photos or something up there in case you ever wish to see. I've just started putting up a few of the photos from Wales, and will probably work my way through more over the coming days. Generally anything I'm willing to upload there is stuff I don't mind making public, so at least you shouldn't be locked out of anything without an account!

Sexy pirate Dorey happened waaaaaaaay back in 2004. ^^ Fun times, back living in the US and attending a lot of renaissance festivals with Tarkara. :)

Well, I can't even begin to think how many hundreds of hours I spent doing that on Flickr, which is why for over 2 years I've waffled on whether I should delete the account or not, but finally did today. I just justify spending $25 a year to maintain an archive that everyone hates using, and I hate uploading to. So what I'll do from now on is if I have photo's to share, I'll just throw them up on dropbox for a week or two and send people a link.

And ah haaaa... I thought you looked younger in those. XD Well still, sexy Dorey is sexy. :3

Yeah... rrf. I know you've put far more time and energy over the years into it than I have, so it's just terrible that they could get the design so ridiculously wrong to chase you off despite that. Either way I'll always be interested to see whatever photos you wish to share, wherever it works best to do it!

My favorites this time are JammerHighwind's and Evil-Sprite's features. :3

JammerHighwind's got a really cute reference sheet; it's always neat to see different takes on toony skunks! :D

With Evil-Sprite's, I've always really liked Mewtwo, but those feet of his (its?) perplexed me to no end when I first started to draw him; they still sometimes confuse me a bit. It's really cool to see a study sheet of them in different viewpoints and poses -- that's definitely not something you see often. :3

Hey - any Tide comment is welcome, I don't care how quickly or late it comes. ^_^ Glad you like the cleaned up format too - anything I can do to make it easier on folks is worth trying.

And heh - yes; a runner up ONLY because I really, really, really had to resist extreme bias for Dorey Feets rendered by yourself - that's like double bias. XD But gods, I so loved that!

Jammer is a really interesting artist to me - he has a style that certainly stands out quite a bit from others, and his own character is a very interesting design too. Unique footpaws, and you gotta love that super-unique grin he's got.

As for Sprite - yeah, Mewtoo is hard because he/she/it (heh) has two-toed footpaws, and two-toed feet are very, VERY hard to get looking right. Evil-Sprite, in my opinion, is the best artist out there for two-toed feet. He's figured out whatever the magic ratio is to getting them looking good.
