Heck yeah! :) What type of writing are you doing?

Currently I'm working on an alternative history piece where a scientist trying to master travel through space/time accidentally slips into an alternate reality where Adolf Hitler died of a gastrointestinal perforation while still in Spandau prison. The 3rd Reich never happened and the main character is trying to explain the Second World War and it's atrocities to his alternate self, who disbelieves that such things could actually be true.

Over time, the main character begins to realize that his alternate self is now afraid of him and might be attempting to turn him over to the authorities. The physics understanding of that reality isn't advanced enough for him to be able to build a device that could return him to his own timeline, and even if he could manage to build it himself, he has no way of knowing how to target his original little sliver of time/space. He would literally just be catapulting himself through timelines and hoping he landed in the right one.

There are still several directions I could take it. In the original outline, he was going to realize toward the end that it was impossible for him to return to his timeline (due to a lack of advancement in physics), and after killing his alternate self in a mix of rage and partial self-preservation, he leaves the house and just wanders down the street - lost and hopeless.


Aside from that, I've written a few Furry smut pieces which people would probably be more interested in.

I did actually write a transformation story once, though it wasn't anything special.

A high school student, for reasons never explained, transforms into a Raptor while in the middle of class (larger than a Dromaeosaurus but smaller than a Utahraptor). Everyone panics, including himself, and he struggles to escape the school grounds while slowly trying to make sense of his new instincts and body morphology. He retains his human intelligence, but also inherits some of the more feral aspects of his saurian body - such as the urge to chase, and a desire to catch prey and eat it raw.

The actual transformation scene didn't get a lot of focus, since the majority of the story centered around him trying to mentally cope with the physical and mental changes to his body and his attempts to escape from the authorities who want him for study (I never said the story was an original one :-P ).

The planned ending was not a pleasant one. Though I never wrote it, he was eventually intended to commit suicide by jumping into the ocean, having realized that there was no way he could lead a normal life and it was only a matter of time before he was caught or killed by government agents.
