What Is Love? Baby, Don't Hurt Me...

... or my website... no more...
Bet you're humming that song right now, aren't you?
So I finally remembered what e-mail address I used to sign up here (I apparently have built up a lot of peripheral addresses over the years, mostly to sign up for things I don't want associated with my 'main' addresses, but that's neither here nor there). The shut down hasn't affected me all too much, since I still don't do a LOT of following and I don't post often enough for the few people following ME to really notice.
I've been working overtime almost every week, I finished my spring college courses and my wife completed her diploma (and them immediately started upgrading courses over the summer to start her degree in the fall). There's been a lot of travelling to see friends and family and just have fun. There's been health problems on both sides of the family and a lot of time and effort spent there, and just a lot of... stuff. You know? Stuff. Things. Blah. All my usual excuses.
I am still writing! New Kimmi is half-done, new Odella is quarter-done, and I haven't forgotten the rest of my grrls, but I have to admit that my attention has been focused more on my, er, 'real' writing. I'm still not sure if two of them will be furry or not, but I'm thinking that I might as well write what I enjoy, and gosh darnit, I like writing anthropomorphic critters swordfighting and arguing and throwing fireballs.
And sometimes, falling in love.
I'm exploring the other websites that are out there, since apparently there's a big "ERHMAHGHERD EXODUS" from FurAffinity. I'm not leaving, and I can't imagine ever leaving, but I do want to expand my market saturation (heh heh) a little bit. One question that bugs me, though, is should I consider a new moniker for my less porny writing? I don't want people running across my new works, Googling my name and dropping their monocle into their Capri Suns when they see what I ALSO enjoy.
I have a lot to ponder for the upcoming year, I guess. I just figured I'd throw something out there and see if anyone noticed!
Cheers, eh,
Dissident Love

FA+

The internet doesn't forget and the last thing you want is some potential employer rejecting you based upon something you wrote here. I try to keep my real name away from my FA account, for that vary reason.
That all said, I'm glad you're back and I look forward to seeing what you write in the future! :)
The downside to a pseudonym is entirely selfish; I'll have a tougher time finding your less lewd works.
So now maybe I should go even deeper. Pseudonymception. I won't even be able to find myself.q
