And yes, I would love to do more hanging out this year at the con, rather than shutting myself away in my hotel room to do commissions. I'll be keeping that in mind when I do whatever commission sale I decide on doing. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. Yes! We should hang out! heh heh

That said though, if you're lookin' for my personal opinion, I'd consider leaving the first pic just the way it is. I really like how it came out, and I wouldn't want to risk messing up the feel of the composition with adding new elements. I mean, I'll do it, sure, but I think it's personally perfect the way it stands now.

Also, if you're looking for a bit of insight at what I'll offer AT the con: I'm leaning toward offering "Sketch Commissions" almost exclusively, with regards to giving as many customers as much take-home art as possible. I think I'll offer a discount on illustrated pieces, but make it clear that those won't be completed until post con. It just really bummed me out, last year, having nothing for those who commissioned me for full illustrations. Plus, I really prefer to be at home, at my actual drawing table to do those, with the fullest tools of my trade, at hand.

Another thing I found I enjoyed, that I honestly didn't even know was "a thing," was drawing in peoples' sketch books -- you know what I'm talking about? People had sketch books with a wide variety of artists doing something on each page. Did a couple of these, and I'll be looking forward at doing more. And I THINK, if I'm only focused on doing sketches there at the con, I'll have more time for those, as well.

Anyway, just things I'm considering. Have a bit of time, yet, to decide. Didn't mean to write you a short essay here about my thoughts. lol

hahah hey its cool man, though I'll be honest I'm curious how you would draw my other characters since they are not really the actiony kind of character so curious what you would do. One is a rock star which could be interesting to see.
