....Not that i ever left, It's just that I couldn't access my own damn account after FA decided to reset everyone's passwords without a single word or notice. GG FA, never change.

Anyways after like 2 freaking weeks of waiting i finally got my password reset and finally managed to gain access to my shit again.

Sorry for those IA commissioners that had to wait on me this couple of days :( I never knew something like this would happen; worry not i am still working on your pieces as it is, and will be able to update you guys properly now.

Welp hopefully this is the least shitty bump i have to go through! _{deep down inside i know it isn't lol}

Actually, if you had logged in after FA came back, before they reset everyone's password they did notify everyone they was....it was on twitter and the forums.

Communication is cool, but no, Reddit and Twitter don't replace sending a direct email.

To be fair, if you couldn't reset a password because you didn't have your old email... Sending an email warning you it might happen seems a bit futile.

Twitter is redirected to nothingness in my personal host file and who looks at the forums all the time? There's art to be looking at. So both are terrible ways of spreading news of any sort.

The site had a notice posted for a week or so about the attack that happend, then another one on header about reset passwords. They also posted it to the FA forums found here http://forums.furaffinity.net/. Emailing every user about an attack is impractical especially since that information isn't on hand.

I saw the notice when they were 1st attacked; they encouraged everyone to change their passwords as a precaution. I did.

But then, next thing I notice is that i was locked out of my account, and that now i needed to do a full password reset.

See? that one they just did it without notice, they just blew everyone's passwords THEN made a journal about it.

Only way to know what the hell was going on was to either make a different account to log back and see or have a friend tell you what was going on.

they did the second part because they realized peoples information had been stolen they only way to protect everyone was to force reset. although i get why your (and others) are upset.
