Oh, i figured it was just gonna be LoZ the whole time.

I've had a lack of happiness since Metroid was killed off.

1. I'm thinking they'll only have Legend of Zelda playable for people not working for Nintendo

Yeah they dropped Metroid on it's head for it's big 25th, instead opting for Skyward Sword and all the fifty million awards that went with it.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of metroid, and instead of getting something to wipe clean the utter embarrassment that was Other M (or even an announcement of such a title), they retooled an e-shop game and just slapped the metroid prime title on it, effectively staining the secondary mainline game series with a very shitty game.

If this game sells well (it won't), nintendo will think that the metroid audience wants the games to be devolved into mindless clusterfuck shooters.

If this game tanks (it will), nintendo will probably shelve metroid, somewhere between F-Zero, Advanced Wars, and Golden Sun.

nintendo seems to be backing into "safe" titles, just trying to sell mario and Loz and pokemon and dick all else.

It's really sad.

lets not forget how it's been shafted in Smash bros. as well.

-could have had Dark samus as a clone, get dark pit instead
-Could have had ridley playable, but sakurai didn't like the idea of putting in that much effort, all the DLC characters are based off of an existing player character model, which is why we have half the roster consisting of "anime style guy wielding a sword" (Bayonetta is almost physically identicle to ZSS).

I doubt the demo thing will happen. Especially since it's a new gen and we data mined the ever living shit out of the ORAS demo. Like, we practically knew everything about the game before it even came out.
