It's a small enough program to run alongside Skype and it might need some getting used to, depending on how you had your Skype set up, or it might be fairly similar. In either case, do hope that you'll have a smooth transition over if you do~

I would highly suggest AGAINST using Telegram. I would however 100% fully support the idea of getting Discord. I noticed in a comment you "only" use it for your WoW Guild. Maybe you shouldnt?

Discord is a life saver, I swear by it. I have it on mobile, bookmarked, and desktop app. Discord is the way to go. <3.

I only use it for my WoW guild because those are the only people i know who use it. That and it was mandatory lol

It wouldnt be hard to say "Hey I am going to be using discord, you can find me there at blahblahblah"

I would be honored to invite you to my server and you can invite anyone who wants to hangout with you.

Make it your primary method of IM'ing, wouldnt be that hard at all. Even comes with chat rooms, voice rooms, emoji's, etc etc. Soon it will have 1 to 1 calling via VoIP like skype as well as group calling. Future plans are even webcamming and screen sharing. It is growing and will replace all eventually.
